Privacy Policy
Effective July 5, 2026
LockIn ("we", "the app") is a social accountability app. This policy explains
what data we collect, why, and what happens to it.
Data we collect
- Account identity. When you sign in with Apple we receive a
unique identifier, your name, and (if you share it) your email address.
- Payment information. Card and bank details are collected and
stored by Stripe, our payment processor.
Your card number never touches our servers; we store only Stripe's reference
identifiers.
- Proof photos. Photos you submit to verify a challenge are
analyzed by Google's Gemini AI service and stored with the challenge record.
- Challenge history. Wagers you create, their outcomes, and
amounts staked or claimed.
- Device token. Used solely to send you push notifications.
How we use it
To run the service: creating and settling challenges, verifying proof photos,
processing payments and payouts, sending notifications, and showing leaderboards.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Stripe - payment processing and payouts.
- Google (Gemini) - proof photo verification.
- Supabase & Railway - database, storage, and hosting infrastructure.
No other third parties receive your data.
Retention and deletion
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete Account).
Deletion cancels your open challenges, releases any payment holds, removes your saved
payment methods, and permanently strips your personal information from our records.
Anonymized challenge records may be retained for financial bookkeeping.
